Punjab Green Tractor Scheme
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Punjab Green Tractors Scheme to provide subsidies to farmers and provide tractors in easy installments. According to this scheme, tractors will be provided to poor farmers living across Punjab in easy installments. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif approved this scheme at a recent meeting.
You will be very happy to know that on the orders of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, these tractors will be given to you interest-free. Which you can easily get in instalments. Earlier, the Kisan Card was launched for farmers through which farmers will be given loans for fertilizer sprays and seeds.
The government is providing subsidies to the farmers in every way. So that there is maximum growth in agriculture and to provide convenience to the farmers. This is a very good initiative by the government because good crops can be obtained only through high-quality agricultural implements and medicines.

How much tractor will Be given?
Now let me tell you how many tractors will be given under the Punjab Tractor Scheme and to which farmers will be given. It is very important to know that the Punjab government has announced the distribution of 10 thousand tractors in the first month of the tractors scheme.
It has been decided in the meeting that a 70% subsidy will be given to small tractors while a 50% subsidy will be given to big tractors. During the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed that the first phase of the scheme will be completed within one year. During a question, it was also said that 10,000 tractors will increase during each phase.

Eligibility Criteria
An eligibility criteria has also been made for registering in the Punjab Tractor Scheme and getting a tractor on easy installments. Only those who meet this eligibility criteria will be given a green tractor by registering it, which they will be able to get easily. The following are the eligibility criteria:
- Only farmers can get this tractor.
- Farmers should have their own national identity card
- All such farmers who have Kisan Card are eligible under the Green Tractor Scheme
- Farmer must be Pakistani
- A farmer should have between six acres and 50 acres of land

Application Process
The government has introduced no application form till now for application in the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme, Nor has a website been introduced where people can apply. The government is working on it and introducing an online portal for it. Where people can apply for the tractor scheme.
As the government has introduced an online website and button for the Punjab bike scheme, a portal is being created to provide convenience to the people on which people sitting at home can apply. The government is making every effort to provide convenience to its people so that people do not waste their time and ensure their registration at home easily and without any dishonesty so that no right is lost.
