On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports started the Khelta Punjab Games 2024. The aim of Khelta Punjab Games is to promote sports in Punjab so that the youth can stay healthy and develop a passion for participating in sports.
Inter-club competitions will be held at the Tehsil District Division and Provincial level to promote sports and find new talented players. 12 international sports will adorn the fields of Punjab. These sports include Kabaddi, Football, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Archery, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis etc.
Cash prizes of more than 10 crore rupees have been allocated for the winning players and teams. 15 thousand players and clubs from across Punjab can participate in these games. An online website has also been launched for its registration, you can go to the website and complete your registration.

The registration process is very easy Government has launched a website to facilitate the players and students. You can do your registration by visiting this website after which you will be provided with more information about the game and the registration process is listed below.
- All you have to do is go to the official website of Khelta Punjab.
- There you will see a form in which first of all you have to select the participation level i.e. you want to play at the district level or you want to play at the division level.
- After that, you have to select the category of whether you are a boy or a girl.
- You have to select the type whether you are playing individually or as a team.
- After that, you have to select support for which board you want to participate in.
- After that, you have to write your division district tehsil and your team name and team contact number.
- After that, you will be asked for player information including player name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, age, CNIC number, contact number, address, and photo, and your ID card or bay form photo.

Terms and Conditions For Khelta Punjab
- The last date to register for the Khelta Punjab Games is 27th September 2024. Here’s what you need to know if you’re interested in participating
- Players who are under 22 years of age can join.
- Anyone born on or after December 13, 2002, is eligible to participate.
- Players representing any department are not allowed to participate.
- However, players from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) can participate.
- To participate in district-level competitions, you must be a resident of that district.
- For division-level competitions, you need to be a resident of the respective division.
- Players who are 18 years or older must play based on their CNIC permanent address.
- For players under 18 years of age, the permanent address on their FRC (Family Registration Certificate) will be used for participation. An attested copy of the parent’s CNIC must also be provided.
- No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be given at the entry-level.
- Players providing incorrect or incomplete information will be disqualified.
- In team events, if any player gives wrong information, the whole team will be disqualified.
- The Sports Department reserves the right to accept or reject any registration.
