Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched Himmat Card to make disabled people financially strong. Through this himmat, the disabled persons were being given quarterly installments of Rs.7500 every three months. Recently, according to a new update, the Chief Minister of Punjab has said that now the amount received by Himmat Card should be increased. 10500 rupees will be given every three months to eligible and registered disabled persons by Himmat Card to meet their needs.

Himmat Card Registration Process

An app has been launched by the government for the registration of Himmat card, with the help of this app you can complete your registration at home. Follow the steps given below for registration.

  • First of all you have to download PWD service app from play store
  • After downloading this app you have to create your account in it
  • After creating an account, you have to login to the account using your ID card and password
  • After login PWD app dashboard will open in front of you
  • In this dashboard you can apply for PWD registration, DRTC grant, Baitul-Mal-Z, KUWA etc.
  • For PWD registration you have to click on PWD registration icon
  • A form will open in front of you in this form you have to enter your information in this form
  • After entering the information, an SMS will be received on your mobile
  • After that, your appointment will be booked with the doctor
  • After the appointment you will be given a certificate which will be called as PWD certificate after which you will get Himmat card and you will get monthly assistance.

Eligibility Criteria for Himmat Card

  • You must have disability certificate from Social Welfare Department Punjab
  • According to the disability certificate, the disabled person is not capable of working
  • The applicant is not engaged in any government or private employment
  • Not receiving aid from any other government NGO or Baitul-Mal
  • Possess the required PMT score issued by BISP.
