According to the same announcement, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has provided a School Nutrition Program to more than 4 lakh children of 3527 primary schools in three important districts of South Punjab, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Muzaffargarh.
Currently, this project has been started only in three districts of South Punjab, slowly this program will be implemented in all districts of Punjab. Thanks to this program, all the children of Punjab who study from KG to Class V will be provided free nutritional milk. What Children Will Get Under the Maryam Nawaz School Nutrition Program?
Under this program, every child will be provided with one packet of milk each day which will be 175 ml. This milk packet is made purely keeping in mind the health of children and a 175 ml packet of milk will contain many nutrients. This packet of milk will have gone through various processes like Sterilization, Pasteurization, and Canning so there is no chance of any harmful bacteria in the milk. Along with this, under the Green Punjab policy, recycling of about 13 million milk bags will be implemented every month, which will play a very important role in cleaning the environment.
